LLC's - Protection of Personal Assets.
Articles of Organization / Incorporation - CRUCIAL to file if your LLC is to be legitimate. If not filed, you may expose yourself to being personally liable for business debts and obligations.
Operating Agreement / Corporate Bylaws - Defines how the business operates, ownership and management roles etc. Highly recommended, some consider it crucial.
Registered Agent - Required in the state of Texas and many other states. The purpose is to ensure the business receives all legal documents (lawsuit), state notices and tax correspondence from the Comptroller.
Generic LLC name - Protects your name and personal identification.
EIN (Employer Identification Number) - Number used to file taxes with IRS.
